Lap 436 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 8: Kevin Harvick spins after Kasey Kahne
gets loose and Harvick gets bumped by Mark Martin but Harvick is able
to save it. Behind Harvick, Trevor Bayne, Jamie McMurray, Clint Bowyer
and Juan Montoya all wreck with heavy damage.
Lap 435 -- GREEN FLAG: Kyle Busch brings the field to the green

two to beat today at Bristol. They have opened up a lead of more than

Lap 268 -- Juan Montoya had a loose wheel and he went from 10th to
24th, two laps down.
Lap 265 -- Juan Montoya is on pit road to fix his wheel issue and will
go at least a lap down.
Lap 262 -- Juan Montoya is stuck on the outside trying to get to pit
road as he either has a loose wheel or a flat tire.
Lap 260 -- After dealing with handling early, Jeff Gordon seems to have
his car figured out as he runs 11th.
Lap 256 -- Despite the spin, Bobby Labonte didn't lose a position and
continues in ninth.
Lap 253 -- Jimmie Johnson gets a great start and maintains the lead.

Lap 76 -- Jeff Burton had a loose wheel, had to pit under green and is
now two laps down.
Lap 74 -- David Reutimann is three laps down but it appears his issues
of running slow have been fixed.
Lap 70 -- Paul Menard down to 10th after all the pit stops. Greg Biffle
currently 13th.
Lap 67 -- Tony Stewart's two-tire stop hasn't worked out as he has gone
from third to ninth.
Lap 63 -- Kevin Harvick has found his way up to sixth. Kyle Busch and
Martin Truex Jr. pass David Gilliland for second and third.
Lap 60 -- Kyle Busch up to third on the restart, Martin Truex Jr. jumps
to fourth.
Lap 58 -- Ryan Newman gets around David Gilliland and leads for the
first time today.
Lap 56 -- GREEN FLAG: David Gilliland brings the field to the green
followed by Robby Gordon, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and Carl Edwards.
Lap 54 -- David Gilliland didn't pit and is out front. Robby Gordon
also stayed on the track. Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman were the first

Lap 53 -- The lead-lap cars hit pit road. Paul Menard with four tires

Lap 43 -- Jimmie Johnson is all over the rear of Paul Menard but Menard
is able to hold him off and remain the leader.

slow on the track after the Lap 28 incident.
Lap 37 -- Michael McDowell takes his No. 66 to the garage.
Lap 36 -- Paul Menard able to keep Jimmie Johnson behind him and remain

Lap 35 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard brings the field to the green

down to sixth.
Lap 3 -- Paul Menard up to second as Greg Biffle falls to third.
Lap 1 -- Carl Edwards gets out front and leads the first lap.
1:18 p.m. ET -- GREEN FLAG: Carl Edwards brings the field to the green
and the Jeff Byrd 500 is under way.
1:14 p.m. ET -- The cars are rolling off pit road for three warm-up
laps.
1:12 p.m. ET -- Dave Blaney will head to the rear due to an engine
change. Casey Mears also going to the rear for a transmission change.
1:11 p.m. ET -- There will be a competition caution at Lap 50 to
inspect the new tire.
1:09 p.m. ET -- Claudia Byrd, Christian Byrd and Belton Caldwell give
the command, "Gentlemen, start your engines!"
1:02 p.m. ET -- Billy Ray Cyrus sings the national anthem.
1:01 p.m. ET -- Knoxville native and Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne
leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
1 p.m. ET -- Rev. Mike Rife from Vansant Church of Christ in Vansant,
Va., delivers the Invocation.
12:30 p.m. ET -- FOX's pre-race show has started.
11:50 a.m. ET -- It's cloudy and comfortable and Bristol Motor
Speedway. It's currently 60 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
Temperatures are expected to get to the mid-60s and there is a 30
percent chance of rain, but the rain isn't expected until the evening.
Carl Edwards will start on the pole for the second time at Bristol. The
last time he was P1, he won. Green for the Jeff Byrd 500 drops at 1:13
p.m. ET.
